"THE TEAM FOR ALL SOUTH AUSTRALIANS"

The Foodland Crows in Schools enters its sixth year in 2008 and it shapes to be our best year ever. Previous years have seen the junior development team tackle issues such as schoolyard bullying and keeping a healthy lifestyle, but in 2008 we hit the hottest of all topics, water conservation and water safety.

The program again is free of charge and schools involved receive autographed merchandise as well as heaps of giveaways for the kids.
 
Details of program:
Week 1: Presentation
The presentation runs for 45 minutes and features a DVD. This year’s DVD takes on a water based theme where Claude the Crow will give the students his top five water saving tips that can be used around the home. A tour of the Crows’ facilities will also take place where the students will see exactly how water helps the Crows win games of football. Claude then ventures to the beach to find out how to stay safe in the surf.
Claude the Crow will also be a special guest at every school and he’ll have heaps of prizes to giveaway.
Week 2: Clinic
A football clinic is run at the school the following week after the presentation. This features a Crows player, SANFL player and staff from both the AFC and the SANFL. Students will learn some basics of AFL Football and will be able to participate in lots of fun and games. It is also a great opportunity to get an autograph and meet Crows players.
