Vaccines are one of the most cost-effective means of protecting both humans and animals against disease. Drawing on the expertise of world-class scientists. The Centre has been formed to:

(i) develop generic technologies for the design and development of future vaccines.

(ii) to assist industry in the application of these strategies to specific medical
and veterinary vaccines.

(iii) train the scientists and technologists required to strengthen Australia's vaccine industry
