The PGA’s core aim is to help more Australians enjoy golf more often. In doing so, the PGA aims to deliver more business opportunities to its members who are club professionals, accredited golf coaches and tournament professionals.

As from 18 December 2007 the Professional Golfers’ Association of Australia Ltd has merged with the PGA Tour of Australasia Ltd. The newly merged company is known as the Professional Golfers Association of Australia Ltd.

Each year the PGA of Australia stages over 430 tournaments from the Australian PGA Championship to the state based Pro-Am circuits which take professional golf to the masses.
