The University has established a number of funding schemes to promote collaborative research by academic staff.

ACU National provides its students with a broad range of higher education opportunities that have as their objective the advancement of scholarship and learning ACU National has several priority research areas, defined as Flagships and Centres, representing areas of research and outreach where researchers make original contributions to their discipline and to the community in which they live and work.

There is a demand for higher degree research graduates capable of the broad analysis needed in rapidly changing social, technological and economic circumstances.
