Woodport PS. services a community which consist of established residential areas and a number of recently developed housing estates.

The implementation of the School Wide Early Literacy Learning (SWELL) program from Kindergarten to Year 3 is a distinctive feature of the school curriculum. For many years Woodport P.S. has provided outstanding opportunities for students from Kindergarten to Year 6 to participate in quality dance programs.

Students are recognised and rewarded for both effort and success.
