At Harbord Public School, the “Basics” come first. We also focus on Sport and the Creative Arts to provide a balanced primary education. This curriculum is underpinned by a positive and proactive Student Care program.

Harbord Public School’s purpose is to promote the academic, cultural, physical and social development of each child to his/her full potential. We encourage and teach students to become self-motivated learners who can work independently, co-operatively and happily to gain the skills they need to make choices about their lives, now, and in the future. The focus of this school in the area of Student Care is on positive reinforcement. We reward children for good work, good behaviour, good manners and for making an effort in all the many activities that are part of the school program.
