The school’s mission is to develop in every student a ‘culture of achievement”. The mission recognises that achievement will be defined according to each student’s needs and abilities. In developing a “culture of achievement” the school supports Education Queensland’s vision to equip young people for the future to enable them to contribute to a socially, economically and culturally vibrant society.

Distinctive programs include a transition to Senior Program in Year 10 whilst students in Years 11 and 12 complete their studies in four days per week. This allows our Senior students to pursue work, vocational education and /or other study opportunities.

The academic program is supported by a range of extra curricular activities including sport, instrumental music, debating and performing arts. Students are also involved in a pastoral care program supported by Year Coordinators, Guidance Officer, School Nurse, Behaviour Management Teacher and Youth Support Coordinator.
