Civil engineers create and maintain the physical infrastructure of modern society while protecting and enhancing the environment. Environmental engineers are concerned with assessing and managing the effects of human activities on the natural and built environment.

The School of Civil & Environmental Engineering supports the Missions of the University of Adelaide and the Faculty of Engineering, Computer and Mathematical Sciences in achieving wide international recognition, by:
