The College represents Physical Scientists and Engineers who provide a broad range of professional services to the medical community. The College has six Branches covering the states of Australia and New Zealand.

The College holds conferences and meetings to educate and advance knowledge in the physical sciences in medicine. The College examines competencies in specialist areas and confers accreditation in these fields.
