The Foundation is the fundraising arm of the internationally renowned

Australian Craniofacial Unit and Institute. Established in 1975 and located

at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide, the Australian

Craniofacial Unit treats patients who require reconstructive surgery for

birth defects, disease or injury to the skull or face. It supports the following

activities for people (mainly children) with head and face deformities:

Surgical treatment including diagnosis and support from multidisciplinary

teams Research into the causes and care of deformities Education for

medical and allied health professionals Overseas surgical and training clinics.
