The ANZ BCTG is Australia's national organisation dedicated entirely
to breast cancer research. It conducts a National Clinical Trials Program
for the treatment of all stages of breast cancer and for the prevention of
breast cancer.. The research program involves multicentre clinical trials
and collaboration with over 60 institutions and over 300 researchers
throughout Australia and New Zealand. The ANZ BCTG has maintained
NHMRC funding for its research program continuously for over 25 years.
The Group is dependent on community and corporate support and donations
for infrastructure costs and timely initiation of new research. The Group has
charitable status and its fundraising and education division is the Breast
Cancer Institute of Australia (BCIA).
