The EHRC is a referral centre for the investigation and treatment of

hypertension, especially curable forms such as primary aldosteronism (PAL),

renovascular hypertension and pheochromocytoma. It has the largest number

of patients with PAL worldwide that have been meticulously studied and

documented and has become internationally recognised as an authority on

the genetics, pathogenesis, diagnostic workup and management of PAL

including its familial forms.
