The Faculty includes eight schools and five centres not within schools. The Faculty's three main undergraduate degrees are the Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), the Bachelor of Dental Science (BDSc) and the Bachelor of Health Science (BHlthSc).

The Faculty also offers a number of graduate diploma courses and postgraduate degrees. Apart from its teaching responsibilities members of the Faculty are leaders in biomedical, medical and health research.

The Medical School will be celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2007!
